pH neutralizer

Ideal skin pH is about 5.5. Aged, acne-prone and damaged skin have more difficulty maintaining ideal pH and have a skin pH over 6.0. Skin pH is one main contributor to acne. As skin pH is elevated closer to pH 7.0, it allows acne-causing bacteria to multiply rapidly on the skin's surface. (Acne bacteria are found on everyone’s skin, even if you never have a pimple in your life.) Bacteria growth is very slow at pH of 5.5 or less, but a slight shift upward, toward the alkaline levels, causes a marked increase in the reproduction and lifespan of acne-causing bacteria.The difference between each whole-value pH level represents a tenfold change. (For example, a cleanser with a pH of 6 is ten times more alkaline than a cleanser with a pH of 5, and a cleanser with a pH of 7 is 100 times more alkaline then one of 5.) The Konnyaku vegetable fiber is a weak akali agent, therefore it neutralises excess acidic substances and oil from cosmetics on the skin without drying skin out or being too harsh. Magic QQ Ball is so mildly alkali that even though we wash our face with this sponge, our skin can remain mildly acidic. 

And even though it scrubs off excess oils well it does not remove the sebum or keratin more than necessary. Therefore, our skin can maintain the ideal pH of 5.5. This is unlike many harsh latex sponges, commercial soaps and cleansing gels.

Magic QQ comes in 4 different "flavors". The original, charcoal, tomato and Cucumber.

Original magic QQ Ball is suitable for scrubbing most skin types and especially for removing make up. After a day out, it is important to remove one's make up thoroughly before bedtime. If excess oils are not removed, it may lead to excess sebum build up and clogged pores.

Charcoal has been used by the Japanese for many years to detoxify and clarify their skin. Charcoal Magic QQ Ball sponge is recommended to be used at night especially for those living in busy cities.

Cucumber Magic QQ Ball has the same pH level as the skin therefore it is suitable for teenagers or baby's.As they do not apply makeup or heavy makeup to their skin. An infant s skin pH is around 7, within a few months it adjusts to "normal" pH of 4.5 to 5.5, enabling it to be more resistant to bacteria.

Tomato Magic QQ Ball is naturally acidic therefore this is very suitable for Atopic, senstive and acne skins.

Tip for your skin:

It is always recommended to use a cleanser that is mildy acidic and without harmful chemicals/ preservatives like parabens and mineral oil.

A product may include the term “pH Balanced” on the label. This does NOT mean that it has an optimal pH of 5.5. The term has no legal definition.Some products are a good pH, but high in irritants. Which is better then high pH and high irritants, but not great either. Therefore, magic QQ Ball which is natural has no irritants as it can even be consumed
